Tourney overview
There are several types of poker tournaments that require different fees for participation or qualification of a mini-tournament. Also there are poker tournaments that charge no fee and are known as free rolls.
Except Free rolls events, participating in a poker tournament is possible by making a buy-in price. Buy-in is either a fixed amount or a special ticket which grants you the right to participate in the tournament. In return for this buy-in you get a place at the table, a stack of chips and a chance to win a share of buy-ins.
During the tournament the minimum bet will be increased. Thus, you are forced to play the hand as well so that you remain with sufficient chips to defeat your opponents.
Basically there are two types of tournaments: Sit & Go tournaments and scheduled tournaments. A Sit and Go tournament requires a predetermined number of players, typically 2, 5, 10, 20 or 30. Such a tournament begins when there was a sufficient number of players.
Scheduled tournaments have a specific date and start will start regardless of how many players were recorded. A feature of these tours are a large number of participants and substantial prizes.

All players must pay a participation fee to enter the tournament, this fee, called the buy-in is the same for everyone. If the buy-in is $ 100, and also the house take $ 10, the total amount paid by a player is $ 110. In a tournament that have signed 100 players, prizes will be worth $ 10,000. The structure of the tournament prizes vary but generally there is a prize at every ten players. In this situation, the player will receive 30% and the next 9 each 20% 13% 10% 7% 6% 5% 4% 3% and 2% respectively. At the start of the tournament, all players will have the same number of chips, and as the tournament progresses, the Stakes increase every 15-60 minutes. We can tell whether we are dealing with a quick tour or one little slow one by the number of chips with which to start the game, the stakes and how much last the game. Good players generally prefer slow tournaments where you start something with lots of chips, and where the game is very long periods. This structure gives players the best opportunity to eliminate opponents before the stakes become very high and they are forced to play a lot of money.
If participating in a tournament of 100 players will be ten tables with ten players. As players left without chips, they are eliminated (unless we are dealing with a re-buy tournament, where players are allowed to buy the chips within a specified time) . Once some players are eliminated, other players are seated at those tables, in this way, some tables are broken, and some completed. For example, if at one table are ten players and the other two tables are each eight players, two players at the table with ten will be moved at the tables with eight, so on each table to remain nine players. The tournament ends when one player has won all the chips at stake.
